The 32GB iPod touch is an excellent media player that's both attractive and functional.
The 3.5" touch screen is scratch resistant and clear - even on a sunny day. Sound quality is very good and in recent battery tests the battery lasted for 27 hours (Which Magazine) on a single charge.
It's a little heavy but it's wireless enabled and comes with Apple Safari.
With Christmas just a few weeks away, this will be a very welcome present.

Apple - 1
The Apple 1 was an early PC. They were designed and hand-built by Steve Wozniak. Wozniaks friend Steve Jobs had the idea of selling the computer. The Apple 1 was their first product demonstrated way back in 1976 at the Homebrew Computer Club in Palo Alto, California.
It first went on sale in July 1976 costing $ 666.66 because Worniak liked repeating digits and coincidentally they sold it to a local shop at a cost of $ 500.oo plus a mark up of 30%
Around 200 PC were produced, unlike other hobbyists computers of the day which were sold in kit form, the Apple 1 was fully assembled with a cicuit board containing 30 chips. However, to make a working computer. userts still needed to add a case, power supply, keyboard and display. Anoptional board providing cassette interface for storage was later released at a cost of $ 75.00
It all sound very difficult to me - thank goodness things have moved on since then.
